TRAFFIC ALERT: I-15 closed in the Virgin River Gorge past St. George because of a hazmat situation. The road could be closed up to 12 hours.

Some reports suggest the road closure is connected to a suspected bank robber who shot and killed himself on the freeway in Arizona. More coming up on Fox 13 News as soon as we get it...


BREAKING NEWS: I-15 CLOSED AT UTAH-ARIZONA BORDER

No hazardous materials or explosive devices

Investigators said they did not find any hazardous materials or explosive devices initially thought to exist in the vehicle of a suspected bank robber who shot and killed himself Tuesday in the Virgin River Gorge.
