SDS100/SDS200: I accidently installed the TxWarn system

I accidently installed the TxWarn system on my new SDS200. I also put a very few local police depts. as well. I'm a newbie. Whenever I turn the scanner on, all it wants to do is scan TxWarn's many cities in Texas. This is all I get. Can I go into the SD card and delete TxWarn, and start over? Thanks.

Enable location control.
This will limit scanning to just what is in your area.
Read up on both location control and the range setting in your profile

Welcome to the RR forums. First and foremost turn off full database scanning if you enabled it (entering a zip code for instance turns it on)

Set Scan Selection

Select Lists to Monitor

• Full Database: Off

Then use Sentinel to program a favorites list containing only what you want to hear. Note that Sentinel will append every site, department & channel (or talkgroup) in a particular system so you'll need to go into the favorites list editor and remove what you don't want. Proscan allows for greater favorites list selectivity (check boxes pertaining only to the items you want to add to a FL) which is one of the many reasons I prefer it for building FLs over Sentinel. If you're using Sentinel, don't append the whole system; just append the departments or talkgroups that you want. It will still append all the sites, but all you have to do is delete all but the ones most likely to carry the traffic you want to hear. It also will depend on if you are using the scanner stationary or mobile.

Sent you a Favorites list, in an *.hpe file, in a "conversation"/ Look at the small envelope in the upper right corner of the page, next to your member name, to access the file.
