I Think I Am Ready To Buy A Uniden SDS100

I'd recommend purchasing it from a local vendor. Folks seem to always overlook the local guy to save $10, then have a meltdown when the local guy goes out of business and can't understand why.

Purchase your DMR and other keys from Uniden's website direct.

I would do that if my local vendor did not charge $100.00 extra for scanners.

I use Scanner Master.

I am a loyal Scanner Master customer and can vouch for them. Free shipping on the SDS scanners. When I bought my SDS100 from them I ordered a few accessories and they added $17 to ship. A minor annoyance that I referred to here in one of the threads. Rich Carlson (N9JIG) is a Scanner Master employee that frequents this site and he read my post and PM'd me about it and the very next day I had a $17 refund to PayPal. Customer service doesn't get much better than that, folks! Thanks Rich!

darkness, Bearcat Warehouse in Maryland is still the BEST place to purchase. No sales tax, free shipping too. I never heard of a local dealer in CT charging $100.00 extra. That is "highway robbery".
Hope you have a good weekend and let all of us know how CT State Police is going to work-out or not. That handheld is too much money for it to constantly fail.

I tried the little "local" guy "Universal Radio", but I after five phone calls, and leaving my number twice, with no call back, enough is enough. They must be really busy and apparently are doing just fine without my business.

No better than Scannermaster price wise, I got both my 100 and 200 from them with free shipping and no sales tax, we all have our favorites but just because it’s our personal favorite doesn’t necessarily mean they’re the “Best”.
