Icom: ic-2730 menu settings

I just purchased a ic-2730 which has two separate transceivers, each can be chosen as the MAIN. When I am setting menu parameters on the front panel, am I setting parameters only for the MAIN selection or the whole radio? instructions are not very clear on that.

Only options with relation to the frequency you're tuned to will the menu options be MAIN band dependent. So things like tone (DCS/CTCSS), offset, squelch, tuning step, etc., will apply to the MAIN band. Things like APO, transmit power, screen brightness, scan options, mode (FM/FM-N, AM/AM-N), EX menu (minus DUP.T options), etc., will be for the radio "at large".

Not having tried it, I would assume SQLTYP and SQL-DL would be MAIN independent.
