I just ran into that after viewing this thread. Figured Id share it...
Altho a great reference, they are based on the Writers monitorings while he travels and those who send him info, truely only Local monitoring is going to provide a definitive validation of what is available in your area

Hi, I was wondering which ICE frequencies have activity, more specifically which ones will have if the new administration will be conducting raids in Chicago.
Follow the Chicago TV news trucks, They are getting info leaked to them. Mostly all of it cellular phone traffic.

They always show up where the action is going on.

I've worked in the TV news business for 37 years. I know of nobody who is currently able to intercept cellular phone traffic, but many community groups/organizers keep the media informed about what's going on in their neighborhoods.

Get an SDR if you are serious about catching those fleeting signals

Some of the ID's were CBP I believe I don't know who 518xxxx was.
518xxxx is within one of the Customs Ranges

Generally if they hold a Weekly/Monthly Roll Call, you can get an idea of the ranges per each agency replying over a period of time

Just scan the band, frequencies are active in the clear however they are short very short. Sometimes only seconds and you won't hear anything else the whole day.
being out in the SW Burbs last week, I was shocked at the amount of CLR Traffic I found in the VHF/UHF bands, only DEA VHF was 100% ENC for the week, based on all the ENC comments
