ICOM CS 2820 Question

I am trying to help a friend with a ICOM 2820 who is having a programming problem. I was wondering what the latest software revision for this radio is. I also would like a referal to a dealer to purchase a legal copy from.

1. Have you emailed icom tech support and asked?

2. Any dealer such as AES, HRO, KJI, etc. etc. should have the software for sale if they sell
the 2820.

3. This is a Commercial Radio forum and not for Amateur Radio products - not sure why you
posted it here. Should be in the Amateur Radio forum.

I guess I goofed and put the request in the wrong area. I emailed ICOM Technical Support and they told me Ver 1.0 was the latest version. What I do not understand is the Versoin I currently have is Ver 1.1. So either the email is a typo or the ICOM rep is not up to date on the information.
