Sure wish DMR was included on the digital modes. But....since it isn't and there's a lot in my area, been experimenting with DSD+ and the IC-R8600. Kinda wondering where my problem might be. Any advice/input would be appreciated. Here's what I've got.....first of all whether I try the USB cable or 1/8 AF/IF into Win 10 machine it comes close to decoding but not quite. Get a stuttering in audio and some err no sync messages on DSD+. I have tried adjusting the RF gain, and BASS/TREBLE to no avail and even tried some FIL adjustments. Seem to be closer when I go from FM to WFM......and the frequency I'm trying to decode is 155.415.....a known DMR that I successfully decode on my Uniden SDS200. Any thoughts? And thanks in advance.

It was answered in your FB post. To reliably decode with DSD+ you need to use the I/Q output, An SDR app (HDSDR, SDR-Console) and VB Cable.
If anyone else is doing it with raw audio or the USB output I would be very interested to know exactly how.
Simon? You working on anything to trunk the R8600 with DSD+?
DSD+ team? You working on anything to utilize the R8600 with Fastlane? Ex: FMPR8600?

Here's a video I made that might be of interest to you ...

Thanks for the video. Got it decoding......AFTER I selected WFM. Tried with NFM to no avail. NOW.....appears to be decoding through DSD+ in the dialog box......but for some reason can't hear decoded audio, probably something I'm overlooking....still checking. Again, thanks for the help.

UPDATE-Got it! basically just toggled from "NFM" to "WFM" rapidly a time or two....weird....but it works......sounds as good as my Uniden SDS200 decoding.
