Unfortunately I'm getting what appears to me to be the exact same behavior. To confirm:
DEFAULTBAUDRATE=9600
The only "difference" I'm hearing is a "pop" in my speakers when I click the power button during the first connection. There is white noise coming from the speakers as there was in the last version. It does not change when I change modes or bandwidths so I don't believe I have any control over the radio yet. Interestingly, the AF Gain control needs to be adjusted to 12 o'clock before I hear any noise from the speakers, and as soon as I reduce it to about 11 o'clock the noise disappears. This however was the case with the version prior to this one as well.
After powering it down and then trying to reconnect it behaves as before, power does not come on. I wonder if the COM port is getting hung after the first connection given the OpenPort error.
Again, first.txt and second.txt are attached with debug info.
