Hello I would like to say that at last I got the delivery of my R9500 after 5 months of waiting and now the task is to compare it to the R9000 and so far so good and the R9500 is a big Radio and the grey looks different and it stands out and hopefully soon the AOR-ALPHA will be on the market soon or I might have to settle for the AOR-ONE.The manual on the R9500 is huge and plenty of reading which I do not enjoy.

Can you post some pics? There are pics of the model R-9500, but I would like to see a pic of a real 9500. TIA.

I will do that when I get my new Digital camera in a few weeks because I sold my old one
and we are shifting to a new house soon. The Antennas are already coming down and its not an easy task and I got a buyer for my R9000 and he will be getting it in a week or two and I have already packed my other Radios with only the ICOM-R20 and the ICOM-R9000 and the R9500 and I havent got much time to do the comperision to the R9000 and hopefully the buyer will tell me he will pick it up later but I do not think so because he cannot wait and he always said that when I sell my R9000 he will buy it straight away,The R-9500 is not easy to use and after reading the manual its like flying a 747 and I had the R9000 for 8 years and I didnt spend much time reading the manual but it received good signals and got frustrated trying to work all the controls.

Regards Lino
