I have a ICOM T7A that lost the audio. Very faint. However, it has good audio from the speaker/mike. Seems odd.
The manual says to reset if the CPU malfunctions. So tried that. Twice. Did not make any difference.
Is it possible I somehow accidentally disabled the audio amp? The instruction manual isn't the easiest to understand. And so many 'sub-settings'.
I had an earlier post - April 25 mentioned same problem. Suggested may be too old or too costly to fix. And I now have a newer handheld.
But, have newer battery for this T7A. Maybe duct tape that speaker/mike to it.
