Icom recently released an Operations Notice titled "Tariff Surcharge Update - Effective May 8th" (See attached image below.) I'm posting this as a heads up for anyone currently in the market for any new Icom radios/accessories in the USA.

Won't be buying anything until these tariffs are figured out. Looks like trump put tariffs against china is on hold pending the outcome of the negotiations.
It will get appealed. If not, congress needs to do its job and approve this stuff. If not, the USA will crumble from the massive debt we are in now.
Thanks for the update. Good to see that some checks and balances still exist. Good to see that Icom is trying to stay ahead of the curve and keep its customers up to date about potential price increases.
Tariffs are not the magic elixir for the national debt. Neither are tax cuts.
