That's no joke. When I had my Ameritron AL-80A amplifier, it would raise the room temperature. And that was with one 3-500Z.

The tube guys make me smile: "Real radios glow in the dark" and "Hollow-state technology." I've heard some great signals on the air with those.

I remember seeing one on eBay a number of years ago. Don't remember if it was an auction or Buy It Now but the listed price was $100,000.
