Hello.

(Sorry for my bad english, I hope you can understand what Im writing. And if i place this wrong just move it to the correct forum.)

I bought an AirSpy a week ago. Everything i working well, but to get the scanner plugin to work is impossible. I have been trying for 6 days now.
Downloading old versions and different scanner plugins. But no, it just refuses to work.
I have been trying to read as much as I can and it seems to be like the scanner is a bug issue..

Now I have the scanner plugin, and it appeals.. But when I try to put in a frequency I get a long errormessage, then the scanner plugin window being locked and I cant do anything. Alt + F4 is the only Waynes close it.

This is what happens on all versions I have downloaded. I have done it on 2 different computers and its the same on both.

Can someone please try to help? I am out of ideas now. Really sad that I cant scan.

I have been trying to find at pay version of the SDRsharp but it dosent seems like anyone exists?
I know that SDR++ have a scanner but that program stop working for me after a while and no sound is coming out from it.
Is there any other program that works with AirSpy and have a scanner option?

73 and all the best! //Tom from Sweden

Did you drag the scanner folder into the SDRSharp folder?

In my opinion the newer sdr# is garbage compared to older. I run plug ins and can easily scan custom preset ranges and can also scan custom freqs in scan lists.

Older plugins with older versions is what I use. Since you said you have older plugins ins, hunt down something like sdr#1742 and give that a try.

What model of PC and Windows do you use?
From where did you download the scanner plugin?

Download the IoBit Uninstaller program to remove all traces of all your installation tries.
Then download version 1.0.0.1716 of SDR# as I believe it is the last good version of the old trusted type of SDR#

You run the Zadig program file that comes with it to create a windows driver.

Then test if you can click on different frequencies in the spectrum display and get sound.

I recommend to use the scanner plugin that's been improved by TheWraith2008
