hello does anybody have either a BC785 or a 796 that's been currently used for parts or non working anymore..? i just need the bottom of it that the feet attach to.. i got my 796d from ebay and that one didn't have the feet on it for whatever reason..

You can go to your local hardware store and purchase adhesive feet that stick on the bottom of the scanner.
i guess i will have to either do that or live with what i got

youre going to pay a lot more for a used scanner for parts than you will for self stick rubber feet, trust me.
how do ya know ?? not my fault that the seller stole the feet off the 796 before he posted it on fricken Ebay
Are you asking about the actual full bracket itself, or just the rubber feet that stick to the bracket? If the latter, then you cannot honestly believe that it would be cheaper to find/buy used parts vs spending $1 on a pack of rubber feet. Maybe the seller never had the scanner sitting on a desk, so he never needed the feet, and lost them 15 years ago. Jeez.
thats why im either looking for a non-working 785 or a 796 is all
