To those of you who subscribe to incident messaging services, who seems to have the best coverage for fire incidents in CT? Which do you prefer and why?

I am aware of 1RWN, BNN, IPN, and Citywide but there could be others.

better off just following groups on facebook
I agree, most of the paging notification groups are going by the wayside. Unless they are located in a big metro area and have 24/7 dispatchers. Not saying they are not good to use, just they way reporting is, there are so many social media avenues now to see the same things.

Facebook is a great option. There are definitely a lot of groups/pages there. But I would say IPN and BNN have equal coverage on the west side of the state. If you want quality service and incidents, go with BNN.

Facebook seems nice but I can’t find a way to reliably get a push alert when someone posts something in a group.

yes I agree, you will get constant updates with pictures most times, I am on a lot of the groups and run my own for just 1 particular city, 1st responder I used to have and alot of their dispatchers embellish info, BNN I can’t speak for but I had them at one time and they are ok. I page on citywide and they are awesome, I am good friends with the owners and the handful of dispatchers and IPN is good
