I know this has pretty much been answered, but to confirm, yes, Somerset County will be Phase 1 for compatibility with the rest of the network. The contractors are well underway with the upgrades at the radio tower sites. New control stations and mobile radios will be installed for the police first, and programmed with our current analog 800 mHz police channels. That is supposed to begin this month. Once all of the radios have been installed countywide, police will simply be reprogrammed to the new system.
