For those of you who can't mount an antenna outside and want to monitor both VHF and UHF aircraft this is what I did and it was a total success!
Start Harvest D-103 Dual-Band VHF/UHF mobile antenna. (Mine is on a mag-mount on a steel 4-drawer file cabinet) feed into a Stridsberg FM Notch filter feeding into a Stridsberg PRE-20 Pre-amplificer, fed into a MC202 2-port passive (not active) multi-coupler, fed into two scanners of your choice. I opted for only a 2-port as I'm using this setup with two BCD996P2 scanners and I don't plan adding any more for this purpose in the future.
