Does any one know why they are patching MUT LAW on to EL event B? The patch is on 05-147.

Ingham Co units can't access MSU channels, so they patch MSU to the MUT LAW.
But all police radios have MUT LAW.
If you've ever dealt with MSU operations I think you'd have a little more insight into why they want to operate on an MSU channel :>

All police radios do have MUT LAW, but there are several non-police support staff that need to be on the same channel. All police officers working the game from all agencies are on MUT LAW and various support staff (i.e. Student Supervisors in charge of all the traffic students) are on EVENT B allowing them to communicate with police officers as needed.
EMS operations are on TRI TAC 1.
the TG 05-147 is being patched from the old MSU DPS frequency (460.275) to
"Special Event A" in the East lansing/MSU group.
This was active in yesterdays homecoming game, as well as other home games.

No, 05-147 is the patch of MUTUAL LAW and MSU Event B. I think the MSU DPS freq is being patched into MSU Event A for the greencoats.
