A while back I was listening in on 26 mghz (at least i think so, it was a while ago). I am in Western NY, I heard ticking and the time being read every min or so. Any ideas as to what this was, haven't heard it since, it was months ago.

It was probably WWV, but they don't have a 26Mhz transmitter.

I couldn't even find a 25 MHz transmitter for them listed anywhere, although apparently they used that frequency in the past. Time warp? A time station from a different part of the world? A demented CB'er ???

After further investigation I do believe it was on 25mghz, not 26. It sounded like wwv, now that I have heard the audio of wwv I belive that's what it was.

Yep, during the day with this new solar cycle moving in I am picking up WWV on 25 MHz intermittently, also 20 MHz comes in great during the day from Southeastern Pennsylvania.

I'm getting it loud and clear on 15 but for some reason I'm not hearing it on 20 or 25. I use 127.025 cb ch 6 to determine if it's a good skip day and I am picking up all over the south today from Eastern Pennsylvania.
