I've identified a very active DMR frequency for International Paper in Cantonment on 453.0125 in Escambia County and submitted it to the DB.

It's showing up as a Cap Max T3 trunking system but so far I've not found a control channel or other active frequencies with this license, WRAG645.

Identified talkgroups are 101, 102, 104, 105, 107, 108, 109, 111 and 113. Color codes for slots 1 and 2 are both 9. Network is 5, Site is 114 and it's listed as a large network.

Also as a side note it appears I'm hearing a second DMR repeater on this same frequency but is clearly another business involving transportation, or possibly even a school of some sort. Those talkgroups were 20031 and 20161. It was only active around 7 am this morning, so I couldn't get any more info on it.

Thanks for that info in Cantonment, TomServo! I travel through Cantonment fairly often and go around the huge IP plant there enroute to our condo at Perdido Key. I will definitely monitor that system on my next trip.

I'm in Foley and hearing 453.0125 clear as a bell so you might be able to monitor it from a pretty good distance while traveling.

There are two other repeater outputs on that license, 461.500 and 464.175 but so far I haven't heard anything on those two frequencies. They also have a separate license for different frequencies with analog only audio but I've never heard anything from them, either.

Hey Tom, thanks for the info. I've got the latest DB installed in Sentinel but all I see for International Paper is conventional 452.650 in FM modulation. How do I monitor the DMR system you found? Thanks

If you have the uniden scanners has the dmr option and key entered in the upgrade you can sit on the freq and shows tg cc sl.

Yeah, I have Unidens with the dmr upgrade. I use FL to monitor area interest, downloaded from RR via sentinel to program the scanners. I don't see a dmr system for IP in Escambia county, FL. Appreciate it.

Hi James, I submitted that frequency to the database and I got a response that it was worked, but sure enough it's not showing up anywhere that I can see. I don't know how to program those scanners, I use an SDR with a PC and SDRtrunk to monitor DRM and P25 so I don't have any first hand experience with the Uniden scanners.

Ah, that might also be an issue as I didn't submit any TG info since it was just a single frequency. I had noted about 10 talkgroups but couldn't ID what they were specifically, and didn't know if it was okay to submit them as all just "ops".

I don’t see the trunk system in the county section. If you put all freq in a dept and scan it you might able to find the control channel and other freqs for that system if it is trunked here is what I found

I haven't heard any activity except on that one frequency - no control channels. I'm not even sure how the site would just a single frequency with talk groups.
