Yeah, I still don't get it. There are radios that will do everything this one will for less than 1/2 the price. Also, if one looks at the front of this thing, it looks like the lettering will wear off over time and look real ugly.

That's a pretty old radio and I wouldn't pay that asking price, people can always ask whatever they want, in it's day, that was a great radio. We are going back here.

I just looked up the average price for these radios and they still command upper 400 to Mid $500 range.

For that kind of money you can do do better for your buck, getting FM...... base units like this are hard to find. I'm surprised they go in the $500 range. Too high.
