I've loaded the data for Woodland Park and Little Falls, Passaic County, NJ and there is no decoding. Is the data for Passaic County NCIS trunking wrong? (They are not listed as encrypted.)

Or, do I need to enter something different.

What make & model scanner(s) are you using to bring them in? Looks like Woodland Park Police and all Little Falls services have talkgroups on NJICS (no encryption notated) so, could be a number of things as to why you can't bring them in.

Might be worth checking the analog frequencies listed below as well

Woodland Park & Little Falls are between two towers on the Passaic County Simulcast so it's likely the OP is facing simulcast distortion if monitoring with a non-Uniden SDSx00 scanner...

Thank you everyone. I'm using SDRTrunk software on a computer. I was setting it myself, then thinking I was missing something I utilized RadiorReference to do the set-up. Should I only track one control channel and/or reduce my antenna and RF gain?

I get them on the West Orange Simulcast system. It will depend what systems they are broadcasted on.

From SDRTrunk? Any pick up at all from the control channel? What are you using for dongle(s)? What about antenna(s) ?

If you stop the scanner on a channel you want to listen to on that system, are you getting Control Channel Lock or is it searching?

Thank you everyone for all the help. I got it working, but poorly. I've come to the conclusion that the computer just isn't fast enough to do the job. I bit the bullet and got an sds200. Now I'm trying to figure out how to optimize it so I can scan the trunking and the old fm frequencies fast enough to catch them all. The trunks take a lot of scanning time. I'm considering cutting out the non-control fresh.

I doubt it is the speed of a computer, if it is receiving but poorly that is either
a. Poor Antenna
b. Simulcasting issue with the existing radio/antenna set-up

I would experiment more with your existing antenna and orientation first
Sometimes with Simulcasting less of an antenna is better (paperclips have been known to work)
