Sentinel: Is there a User Guide anywhere for using the Sentinel software?

I just cajoled Santa into dropping off a BCD563HP yesterday and am fumbling around with the learning curve; loaded Sentinel on the PC and connected to the scanner. But I've not been able to find ANY sort of user guide on the features and how to use them, anywhere so far. I'm sure I can bumble around and figure out most of the basic stuff by trial and error, but surely there must be SOMETHING out there as a guide. The Help button is useless, as it just tells the version number. tnx de W2JC

Not sure if this might work for you, but you might try to manually enter a few frequencies into the radio and then start learning Sentinel by first "reverse engineering" it; that is, by "reading" the radio along with your programmed channels into Sentinel. That might give you a good starting point.

We have quite an extensive FAQ in our wiki - in fact it's 2 pages long...learning Sentinel is only half of the game...

Thanks John ... I did that before posting !! I try to find answers before asking for them.
Since posting, I HAVE found some useful links and videos ... enough to get my first Favorites List created and working ... though some of my successes are a matter of falling into the right black hole !! I must say the Owner's Manual sure doesn't tell you much about HOW to make the described features work ... but helpful owners have shared their knowledge, it seems -- just a matter of finding them.
