Is there any ProVoice traffic in the Atlanta area?

Hello neighbors, I am going to be visiting Atlanta and the surrounding counties soon and am wondering if I might need my 436 with the ProVoice upgrade. I have looked over the database, but I figured I'd ask you guys who live there as well. Any input is appreciated and thanks in advance, T.T.

Public Safety wise i dont think so almost all P25 phase 1 and 2 but if you do travel a bit it is worth the upgrade

Henry County, GA uses EDACS ProVoice. Not sure where you'll be visiting, but Henry County is southeast of the city. According to the RR database, it's all county operations, e.g. Fire, Sheriff, etc. McDonoough, GA is in Henry County. There's a lot of rural area in the county and some pretty good listening (at least there used to be until they went to ProVoice and I can't listen anymore...I need to get that upgrade .

I just noticed this - according to the RR database, the county is planning to migrate to a P25 phase II system. I don't know when that change will happen.
