They're supposed to be. Mine are great, I wish had bought them sooner instead of the ones that were supposed to be as good but weren't.

I got my batteries from The Battery Junction. My radio and battery charger were both purchased from AliExpress

Based on what I saw, and didn’t see, over the Thanksgiving weekend, the answer to the original question seems likely to be no. There were some excellent deals at Amazon on some good radios that have been out for awhile. But no new radios, to speak of.
Yep. And there isn't anything more appealing than the ones I have so I guess I'll keep watching and waiting. Xhdata has come out with several radios since I've become interested in radios again while Tecsun hasn't. I wonder why? And Qodosen mentioned more to come, perhaps they're going to be next with a new model.
They’ve said they are trying to put single side band in the DX-286, but apparently it’s a challenge to do with the car radio chip it uses.
If they could do that and add the WB it would be what I'm looking for. Well that and more appealing broadcasters.....
If they could put the same features in the Qodosen as the CC Skywave SSB has, they’d have a radio that‘d be tough to beat.
That's what I've been thinking too. Everything else seems like I'd be giving up more than I'd be gaining compared to the D109-WB.
