I'm sorry everyone that it's not working for you. It's still working for me here. Maybe, @mikewazowski can help.

It's not that search doesn't work in the forum. It's that searches are limited to 7 days. If I search for posts made by you, @belvdr, I only see the posts you've made in the past 7 days. You've been contributing here much longer than that.

It’s working fine for me. i believe others say it is reporting no results for any query, which is what I experienced when the Broadcastify certs expired.

I tried it last night and same deal -- nada

It's a real shame, as it's a useful tool I've been using to build the DMR and NXDN FAQs in our wiki. Without it, it's a whole lot more difficult

Mike
Is @blantonl aware of the search function not working?
I use it a lot but mostly to lookup my old posts which is not working now of course.

When I search on my content, it only shows my posts made since the expired certificate issue was fixed. Nothing older than that.

On the day that the certificates expired, there were no results for searches because all archived data was inaccessible as of that date. However, since that date, all info seems intact and being archived... so if you perform any search now, you will get results from that date forward.

EDIT.... noticing just now that all data is gone again, even from the last few days. Maybe a "restore" is in progress now.

Exactly but you won't get results from earlier than that data as @belvdr seems to think.

Yes, he's aware as I've already posted.
I saw your post after I posted. For some reason, your post was not there when I posted which seemed odd but soon as I posted, then your earlier post was clearly visible.
I have a feeling I may have been replying to a post on page 1 and that's why I didn't see yours.

It's all good!

I seem to be getting something now - I think, like someone else posted, it's only 7 days worth, but it's a start...Mike

We're working on getting the search cluster back up and running properly. Stay tuned.
Well something definitely changed.
When trying to see a users posts, it would only show the most recent.

Now when clicking a users posts, it shows posts from years ago and nothing recent.

My search on My Content seems to be fixed. It shows my recent posts from today and a few days ago as well as a very long time ago so it seems to be fixed now.

They probably had to merge the post certificate issue and the pre-certificate issues histories together in order to show new and those posted in the last few days or after the certificate expired.

I was looking at a post someone made on Apr 6, 2020 and when I clicked on the message count for that user, the latest post being shown was in 2017. That was a while ago and now its showing last post of Dec 2020 so it seems to be fixed now.
