It's MAFEX week

I noticed a few extra cargo type aircraft in town this week (Las Vegas) and looked it up. They will be doing MAFEX this week. Going up toward Rachel to KENO airstrip. Anyone with HF radio be sure to check 5.757 USB and 18.450 USB. Thug callsign is commonly used.

Unfortunately it was held on the 8th. This event is serious fun. See the Keno map for how to get to the observation spot. I am serious about the road having some nasty tire shredding rocks. I don't recall anything challenging otherwise. Let's hope Nellis gives a heads up next time. It has been called JFEX for a while, which is poor naming since it can be confused with JEFX.
