My new server is up and running. Right now, It's JFRD's EMS, Fire, and Bravo channels only. Let me know if you'd like me to add or remove any TGs.

Step 1.
Download and install the EasyStream client here.

Step 2.
Open the program and click "servers". Enter the following:

"jaxfirerescue.no-ip.org" as the server. The ports are 8100 and 8101.

Step 3.
Enjoy :)

Is there a way to enter the server info so it will list it in the dropdown? Hate to have to keep typing it in.
You can save it in your own list of servers. Also, I sent an update to the person the runs the online list, so it should be listed in their eventually.

Hey I'll let you know for sure but I would like to see maybe the hospital Charlie Channels added.
Jay - The hospitals are in the scanner already, they're just on lockout right now. I will add them, but if they cause it to miss too much "action" on the other channels, I might have to lock them out again.

I would try clearing your history, cache and any other temporary files, and then try the download again.

I don't think they've built a Mac client or server yet.

Sorry :(

Well, I do have a PC station close to me so I was able to get the feed going on it, no problems.

I would just need headphones with a pretty long cord to listen without disturbing others. I normally have headphones on all day on my Mac anyway but it would probably look pretty funny to see a long cord dangling from me to a computer at my 8 o'clock position.

Still, it's good to know if something major happens I could get the scoop, like sometime last year when there was a chemical spill, radiation leak of some kind by my job off Baymeadows Rd. Would of have been cool to hear the comms for that.

Thanks for the feed!:D

Hey I am just curious I am having some big time problems with being able to use this easy stream with a dial up internet connection. Does this require a broadband or highspeed connection to use this program. I am listening to JFRD as I am typing this and no other window are open and no other actions are going on with my computer was just curious as to why I am only hearing bits and pieces of the conversation. I like in Keystone Heights in the far southwestern corner of Clay County and can hear JFRD sometimes as plain as day like I am in Duval County/Jacksonville area. Hope someone out there may be able to give me a suggestion.

Jay. You need DSL/CABLE don't think dail up works good for live feeds too slow of a connection.

Cool feed. I like the Mini-View. Thanks for doing the work necessary....
Thanks for the thanks, but I can't take credit for the program. Butel designed it, I just use it! ;)

How 'bout locking out talkgroup A-8 Support ????

Well, you did have to setup your scanner, etc. Good job.

Help

This is the message after I try to download easystream:

easystream_clientsetup.zip could not be saved, because you cannot change the contents of that folder. Change the folder properties and try again or try saving in a different location

Any ideas?

Done.

I actually meant to do that sooner (once I figured out what "support" was used for), but forgot.
