JeffCo Deputy Shooting

Somewhere around 10am a deputy went in pursuit of a vehicle driving the wrong way on I-59 Southbound. It was only about 10 seconds later, the subject wrecked out. The deputy requested medics and the radio went silent. When the second deputy got on scene, he found the first deputy with a gun shot wound to the leg. Right now, it sounds like he's going to be ok. The subject was "found and down".

Does anyone else have any info?

Thanks Dave. Yeah, I'm caught up now.
I was listening to it as it happened, and didn't think to switch over and listen in to Birmingham too. So I only got half of what was going on. I later turned Birmingham on, listened to the escort to the hospital then the traffic clean up.
