Jersey City TRS going 100% full time encryption.

I'm not from Boston or PA or anywhere north of Cincinnati but here in Kentucky with 4 Harris Systems in the region I've never seen a single radio break encryption by itself. That being Software or AES loaded keys, it's always operator error like flipping the concentric switch or messing with the menu (Which happens more often than thought).

I'd just like to know who in Boston is using Harris. As far as I know, with the possible exception of the MBTA, everyone is still using Motorola, so without a Harris system, I call BS.

I'm more interested in hearing more about the encryption being cracked. Cuz I'm definitely calling a big heap of bull**** on that one! Links or it didn't happen...

If there isn't a Harris system to be cracked, the crack could never have occurred the way the poster presents it. I doubt we'll hear another word from them.
