I dont know about anyone else, but can the moderators please keep these people in check that are trying to ruin this mans life?

There is a lot of hearsay going on and most of these moderators here close threads for some of the sillest reasons. I think that anyone that says anything about jparks that really does not know the facts should be moderated.

The man put several items up for sale in the for sale section and some idiot with his first post posted the anti parks website. This is wrong and everyone here knows that it is wrong.


This man has the right to post in the tavern and defend himself which he tried to do, but most if not everybody went against him without knowing the truth, believing what was posted on some site that 1 person that felt he was wronged. Go back and read everything that he posted and make your decision. What he explained there is what I tend to believe. Have the others made their case? Not at all.

I hate to see everyone in the scanning hobby go against a fellow hobbiest because he has a business and that business happens to be installation of police, fire equipment.
Everyone is different and takes this hobby a different way. Some like one scanner, others like many! Does this make them a wacker too? I think not. It is wrong what the people here on this site have done to him and I think they owe him an appology.

Till everyone here knows 100% sure that JPARKS29 done what he is accused of HE NEEDS TO BE LEFT ALONE and able to post here with the dignity and respect he had up to the point this all started.

Stop Harrasing JPARKS29 it is wrong and anyone on here caught doing so should be moderated.

Because in a very recent post someone had to drag up the anti Parks web site.

I have to agree the man should be left alone, I have researched the suppoused statement that he had made and have yet to find it. I am assuming at this time that the post was removed. However if the man was doing something illegal he would have been arrested. I know for fact the Maryland state police have been involved and there was no arrest. That should be the end of the story period. Bottom line is everyone should just leave the guy alone until it can be proven he did something wrong. Innocent until proven guilty!

That's what happened to the entire thread of his "wacker mobile" on the batlabs forums.

Go back and read everything that he posted and make your decision.

all lighting will be sold to authorized users ONLY, sorry, no red/blue lights will be sold to security guards......

It is wrong what the people here on this site have done to him and I think they owe him an appology.

But it's ok that he comes out of nowhere with a statement like that? The security guard comment was a cheap shot, and shows the type of man he is.


Everytime someone tried to give him suggestions on what looks best on a company vechicle, he said he'd rather spend more money in lights than to mark his "company" vechicle in a manner fitting such a venture.

When are you guys going to learn that everyone on here has the right to say what they want? There is no such thing as the Internet Police so stop trying to be. I think he was totally justified in saying that he would only sell to proper people, and Security Guards are not proper people. Everyone knows that there are a lot of people out there that become security guards and get the wacker mentality.

Why did I bring this up? I brought it up because a lot of people on here treated him wrong in the posts that were made and because of 1 guy and a website most here believed it and though he was some wacker. Like the post above, Maryland State Police do not play around, they mean business and for them to ok him to put a red and blue light on his car is awesome, just goes to show you that something must have been legitimite!!!

I did not post here to hear all the same comments again, I posted because the Radio Reference community needs to leave him alone. Thanks for those that agree with me, as for the others.....typing only one word for a post and you know who you are show exactly that you have nothing to say and nothing that would hold any water.

Mr.Parks runs a business, he is not a wacker. Get over it and leave the man alone, and like I said in my first post, anyone that brings it up without 100% proof that he did anything should be moderated, because then all they are trying to do is stir up trouble. That is not what RR is all about. We are a scanning/radio community and we help each other out, we dont assume that someone did something based off of someones anger and them starting a website about someone.

Bottom line is whatever was said has no relevance to the RR website or anyone on this site EXCEPT John Parks. Therefore it should be left alone and the man should be able to post something without some smart alec post about the anti parks site. Enough is enough with this people. Lets grow up!
