Once again you're spreading false information. I can assure you that EVERY Sedgwick County Law channel will soon be encrypted. It was supposed to have been done last year but got delayed. It's halfway there. I know, I helped set it up.

These are not cheap Chinese Radios Encryption cost money per radio some are add on boards some are buy firmware options.
Government Budgets also play a large part. Some radios have to be replaced several things cause things to take longer. But arguing with the people that are doing the work is not going to change a thing.
Several listeners here like myself have used scanners for over 50 years also most people confuse RIGHTS with PRIVALIGES like driving a car it is not a right it is a privilege which can be removed at anytime.

Like i said let them who cares now they can get away more of bulling the pepple my bro inlaw a pd officer were he work thay use a laptop in his car only use radio to check 1023 at call and some calls are dispatch but adress on laptop like i said lots to listen too without them right now i listen to mulvane fire and cowley fire ems and cowley sheriff use mvt in car to run pepple and say dont need to hide there radio like kansas turnpike and khp who have ch to go to just want to waste or money on motorola loves it.
