Hi,
Would anyone here be willing to dispatch for one of the Incident Notification Networks?
We need new dispatchers in the area. There is no additional time requirement to be a dispatcher. All you need to do is sign up for an account and when you hear something "newsworthy" log into the system and dispatch it. There are also hotlines to call if you are on the road or away from your computer.
When you dispatch an event you accumulate points that can be put toward scanning equipment and other "goodies".
By doing this, you receive notifications from other dispatchers on incidents that are happening in our area (and any other area you are interested in).
I dispatch for 2 networks: Incident Page Network "IPN" (KTY012), and am the first Kentucky dispatcher for 1st Responder Wireless News "1RWN" (KY1).
If you are interested please let me know and I will get you set up.
Below are sample "pages" from each network. This gives you an idea of what is sent out:
