I don't know the answer you seek, but I just got my mitts on some NEXEDGE radios to play with both portables & mobiles, VHF & UHF. We will be putting them in service starting shortly to replace old radios. Talked the customer into spending a bit more to be ready for digital, so hopefully I will learn some things about them.
They were bought for customers so all I can do is play with them, which I have been doing---Been on 2 meter amateur simplex with another ham, but no Nexedge amateur repeaters around here I guess.
They do sound really good.
