I am hoping someone might have experienced these two issues and can help me. I am old scout leader who bought a used TS2000 from a supposed scouter and I knew the display was "foggy" like the contract was off, I think I need to find a replacement screen. But the problem I have is I turn it on with squelch open and the audio is loud and then drops and fluctuates up and down, I thought maybe the volume pot was bad but no. Anyone know what the issue is? I read on a forum "its an easy fix" but they did not say what that was. I am solder iron savvy but unless someone can tell me I am in the dark.
