Does the Tulsa 911 center dispatch Keystone FD? I heard them on the wrong channel saying "Keystone Fire stand by for a and then they unkeyed". I have also heard Keystone FD talking to Sand Springs FD on their channel as well as EMSA 7E. So I take it Keystone operates on VHF and has 800 to talk to anyone on 800?

I think EMSA gave all (or most) of the first response/fire agencies they may work with a radio that is on the Tulsa TRS, if they don't already have one.

as mfolta1 said; Mannford has an 800 in their Com center; and I also belive Keystone FD has an 800 portable.

Keystone is dispatched by Sandsprings; Sounds to me like their dispatcher grabbed the wrong mic!

I'd drop the all or most down to "some" in reference to the radio's EMSA ahs handed out. Some of us have been promised a Tulsa 800mhz radio from TAEMA as well and haven't seen that either.

I am an Asst Chief with Keystone Fire and we are dispatched by Sand Springs on a VHF repeater RX freq is 153.830. We have one 800mhz base station radio we purchased with a grant that monitors Sand Springs Fire, Sapulpa Fire, and Berryhill Fire along with all the RMA and SMA channels. EMSA did give us a radio and it is in our rescue truck that we use on first responder calls. That is usually when you will here us on 7E. We are working on a grant now to upgrade all of our communications to the 800 system.
