Apologies if this has been discussed before -
I am new to the world of ACARS listening, and was using ACARSD for the past few months - I stumbled upon a freeware acars decoder out of Japan - KG ACARS, which I find to be a bit more informative for me - the only catch is getting past the set-up, which, due to the Japanese origin, makes for some "????" labeled menu choices, so you have to hunt and peck to find what you are looking for - not a real show stopper tho.... I found KG plots correctly on the included map, plus provides more detail on some of the decodes I've been receiving. If you are like me, always serching for something new, you might want to give this freeware package a try out.
Happy listening,
Steve C
