Am I just stupid? I have been immersed in the keyboard, forum postings, and a long search for a manual for the simple task of flipping the radio from channel mode to frequency mode. Anybody know?

Yes, the manual in the radio box has a section on this, but nothing in there, including the key sequence, does anything at all. Any ideas?
Is there possibly a radio password there that I don't know about? I tried to change the password in the radio but that did nothing either. I have AB, SD plus transmit and receive working fine.
I am waiting for my RTS program software to arrive, So I can wait for that, and that software will probably work better than on the keyboard. I ordered it In a physical package from BetterSafeRadios rather than going through the online ordering process, which is why I am messing around with the keyboard.

No clue. My Chinese experience is limited to Wouxun and Anytone products.

The most likely items causing your pain are Work Mode and Keyboard Lock. Check to confirm that your keyboard is not locked (Menu 14; manual page 22). Once you've confirmed that it's not locked, try to change the Work Mode to FREQ (Menu 22; manual pages 32-34).
