Kings RCMP reband?

I was loking at purchasing a Radio Shack Pro-528 and the Wiki says the scanner does not support rebanding. Is this a nessacary thing to listen to Kings RCMP, Kentville PD and EHS?

Rebanding only affects the US.

However, the Pro-528 is an analog only scanner, and Kings RCMP are on digital talkgroups, so you'll never hear them with that scanner.

Thanks for the replies. I didn't decide to buy it. However I will have to save a bit more money and buy something that's overkill
