I still have no idea what frequency the U.S. Capitol Police are now using.

07:15 AM Just heard on STARS TG 50 (TAC) the troopers involved in yesterday's escort setting up at Langley Air Force Base. Looks like Biden will arrive there.

07:35 Activity on STARS TG 50 (TAC) indicates the route will be from Langley AFB up LaSalle Ave to I-64. When it starts you can watch the progress on the traffic cameras at 511 - Traffic Cameras

Look for the cameras in Hampton between I-64 LaSalle and I-64 and I-664 (there are three)

MY COMMENT: It's a beautiful day in Williamsburg...perfect for flying. Why didn't Biden take a helicopter from Langley to and from Kingsmill and save the traffic nightmare and manpower expense of driving for a such a short visit.

Just a comment - I'm not trying to scold or bust anyone's chops here. I've been a RABID scanner freak since the mid 1970s myself! A worry I have is that detailed posts like this that outline the details of conversations relating to very sensitive travel arrangements of the POTUS is exactly the kind of thing that drives law enforcement agencies to carte blanche convert to total encryption. I'm very aware and a supporter of freedom of speech and freedom of the airwaves and all that stuff. But I'm also concerned about the trend of public safety agencies going to total encryption - police, fire, sheriff, water, trash, the whole shooting match.

I just don't want those of us who love scanning to be contributors to this trend. It's my two cents worth - nothing more. By the way, I do wish I was up there with you guys and able to monitor all this with you.
