LBI, yes…

158.7525 is the dispatch channel for all fire and ems.
(Harvey Cedars FD Station 51 simultaneously gets dispatched on the county’s UHF dispatch channel)

158.835 is the EMS response channel.
(Exception: Barnegat Light Squad 12 uses P25 EMS 2 talkgroup.)

All fire operations are on county P25 Fire Ops 2 talkgroup.

Squad 12 also uses the EMS interoperability TG as their “private” channel. They’re also listed in the DB for DMR usage,do they still use it? License expired 7/25/22.

Station 51 is no longer dispatched on Island 1, UHF only. I believe Squad 12 has also moved off and on to UHF dispatch, as of the last couple of months.

Squad 14, 49, Station 15, 46, 49 are all still dispatched on Island 1.

I did not hear their DMR all summer. They are using Tait P25 radios, and I don't (don't quote me on it) believe Tait does dual band (?). But either way, as you noted, EMS Interoperability has replaced their DMR channel. The DMR repeater is still deployed though (as of August).

If it's not in the db, it may not be in use. Not saying its not, just saying it might not. Many think because a freq is actively licensed, that it must be in use. There are many freqs licensed in the FCC that are licensed and not in use.

Only way to know is punch it in and see what you get and compare pl toes to what's in the db.

Perhaps a VHF car to car channel? Many departments in my county still have conventional car to cars in the clear (some DMR conventional) despite main ops being fully encrypted on a P25 TRS.
Long Beach Township lifeguards, transportation, & PD are on UHF. I don’t know about DPW. PD has XPR5500s and 7500s in their vehicles. It’s certainly worth listening to during the summer, but I don’t think it’s car to car.

Unfortunately, I haven't heard LBT Lifeguards or shuttle buses on UHF in a couple of years. Even at the municipal building, nothing. Assuming still using FirstNet PTT like you mentioned above.

Yes they are. Lifeguards are somewhat active (during the summer obviously). Patch is still active, but it still is only listenable if you’re close enough to the township building. I don‘t know for certain what the shuttles use now, but I assume its FirstNet as the Gator service uses FirstNet as well.

Good to know, I'll give it another try this summer. Thank you.

I pick up what I think is Wall Twp DPW on same frequency, and they're also DMR, maybe even same color code. Fairly annoying. Lol

Yup same Color code… Thankfully different talk groups. Originally I thought a landscape company was camping on LBT’s repeater…

This may not be the right thread to mention this, but Ocean County P25 TG 5084 having hits on RIDs 1517xxx which links to Long Beach Township. Talkgroup looks to be patched with LBT's DMR network TG 7200.

Yes you are correct, fully encrypted of course. They are in the process of migrating to the 700 MHz system. 5085,5086,5087,5088,5089 and 5090 are other LBI TGs.

I don't forsee them going any time soon. Long Beach has been encrypted for a while hence the encrypted talkgroup on 700. I doubt that will reflect BH if they ever go

Do you know if they are AES-256?
