Hi, all

The link in my above post #22 does not show all of the court documents.View attachment 185039View attachment 185040View attachment 185041
My sources have said there is alarms going off in some levels due to more people having pre programmed xts5000s with full LAPD lineup and other agencies participating in the events.

While it existed before it's more noticed now due to lives, steamers following groups bursting audio of such to get numbers and paid for live content. I watched a live where vandalism was occuring and flags being burned. The second the audio popped about their actions the steamer and several others using 5000s left with a mob following him as they could hear the moves of LAPD about to grid lock the block. Eventually he left completely but returned next night and same events occured being followed by those not with good interests.

There was another live where in Compton there was obvious gang members carrying scanners to xts5000s with the lineups for LA. I'm sure whoever is programming them and selling them are making a buck off it pretty good currently.

Another TikTok live I seen the one store being broken into and yes 2 people had either a scanner or one of them 5000s that's been selling. There has been posts in protest groups on where to obtain these.

For 350 bucks you can get one off eBay pre programmed for 4 different sellers one offering a ucm upgrade for gmrs for private comms. I would say this definitely has caught attention more with the recent events to those that are over things out there. With LAPD being up to date and the people bringing attention to the technology side of things it's a no brainer what is to come inevitably not to mention California requirements on agencies. When you have 12,000 portables out there it'll take time but I believe they are mostly capable and ready when time comes as they been upgrading for some time.

How do these court documents, which show a violation in 2023 and dispositions in January 2025, apply to an incident that allegedly occurred in June 2025?

Can I assume you mean "streamers"?

Another link for info.

He was forbidden from using and possessing surveillance equipment or scanners, but nothing in that docket mentioned listening to online streams. If he was in fact running this entire operation from Texas, he was obviously not listening with a scanner unless there was some crazy propagation going on. :)

Without a doubt it will unfortunately be lights out for LAPD comms in the clear. Not a matter of if, but when. Can probably forget about any delayed dispatch feeds for the public as well.

Case 2023029911 says "You shall not possess any type of police scanner, police radio, or other telecommunications device(s) (including any cellular telephone applications) which monitor police radio transmissions."

[Add] Yes, just in case he was using a laptop/desktop/notepad computer instead of a cell phone to listen to a livestream, computers are easily within the scope of "telecommunications device(s)", as are cable modems.

My mistake. Thanks. Conditions of his next release might restrict him to a flip phone.

Just remember when you can no longer listen to LAPD, there is a lot of people to thank for it. Those fake protesters, love walking around with radio's and or scanners, mostly radio's listening to location's of police units, to target. seen it the last 5 days.

What is disappointing to see is you could see several officers on the front of the line turning their volume down then looking at another officer to side turning his audio down to only realize the guy in front of them with a group of antagonists is the one blasting their channel audio all way up. The look on their face was worth a thousand words honestly.

there was one streamer who was being accused of being a undercover LAPD as he was using a xts4000. To the people in crowd they seen a phone device putting out loud audio that was originally concealed. He was followed and heckled eventually going toward the LAPD grid lock line. He ended his live after and never popped up again. I would guess he either left or got LAPD to get him to pass them and go other side to leave area from the group that was accusing him of being LAPD to stir things up in plain clothes. I'm sure doing this didn't help his plea in I'm not a cop to a enraged mob.

Tiktok has become a platform for these protests on live with radios and scanners being used to chase calls or find specific officers I've noticed the streamer has beef with over past incidents where shortly after some will heckle the officer in question to going overboard in filming and getting way too close.

Most these people either have criminal intent or no care for the protest cause but to gain profit off streaming live with a edge of police chatter.

I had also seen a thread elsewhere of someone asking anyone where he could obtain a pre programmed device to hear the cops offering up to 1,000 cash for it in person in LA area.

Things will definitely change after all these events and once they do there is no going back to the old norm.
