At Los Angeles Regional Interoperable Communications System (LA-RICS) TG Category: County Sheriff there is the original set of dispatch talkgroups starting at 301 and a newer set starting at 2080, the only difference being that the later set is marked as strapped encrypted and the earlier set is strapped clear. Is either set actually, or planned to be, in use any time soon? It still sounds like dispatch is still happening on the 480 analog channels.
