Large Fire in Palatine?

Anyone know of a really good fire going in Palatine? I'm listening to Palatine Stations 81, 83, and 85. Multiple talk about numerous victims. It could be a drill, but I do not know. Anyone heard about this? Greg

Yes. Drill, training. You probably heard it on Starcom21 Talk-group 2768 NWCD FG 1? That's a training talk-group. They're on there again right now, 9/21/16 5:06PM.

The ITTF have been having drills down here in So. Illinois too...for the last couple of months ive been hearing them on TG30334 and 30341 starcom21...they are using turn by turn directions,and realtime checkpoints in their scenarios...pretty cool

Thanks Gentlemen. I got to my desk that day, turned on my 536, and heard that victims were being carried out, including a baby. It was on the same talk-group and NWCD - FG1 as you said Johnny. I looked at my wife and said "this has to be an exercise." But who really knows?
