I heard all the deputy started carrying new portables recently and as of yesterday they started to install new mobiles for a starcom switchover and that will probably be going ENC once everything is done

Makes sense since they were on a radio island all to themselves when everyone around them is S21.

I wonder if the small cities that county dispatches (Utica, Tonica, Naplate, etc) will stay on VHF or move to StarCom?

I also heard Mendota is leaving Peru dispatch and in the process of going to lasalle county for fire, ems and police dispatch
