Afternoon,

I only know of a couple of Northwest Louisiana parishes that have moved down to 700 mHz :Bossier & DeSoto. I'm sure there are others, but since I don't have a scanner capable of hearing P-25 transmissions, I'm at a loss.

I'm wondering just how far the 'rebanding' and switch to 700 mHz is already completed and how much they have left to do until the whole state has gotten moved? Any and ALL help is greatly appreciated.

GOD BLESS,
73,

Buck/KA5LQJ

Don, I believe Red River, Bienville, Bossier, Webster, and Claiborne are all using LWIN 700 MHz to some extent, with the last two possibly only patching their VHF repeater to it for now. All DeSoto Parish law enforcement has moved to MotoTRBO digital on VHF, which is not able to be monitored by a stand alone scanner.
