Don interesting they were testing across all the systems in the area. Especially the Open Sky sites, I haven't seen any pop up in the immediate area. I have seen the LCRA SA 1 programmed into an SA fire radio under the LCRA heading, this was awhile ago. Also intuiting Michael heard testing on the 700mhz system. I think they are double checking all interop with area systems since Boston. I would bet Austin is doing the same as well as other cities and hopefully improving it. Especially between San Antonio, Bexar County and the P25 users, Live Oak etc....

Right now I am listening to the Schertz Dispatcher try to find an interop patch TG
that both Schertz and Bexar Co can both communicate with each other ...stand by.

I just heard the Schertz PD Dispatch ask an officer if he had "BEX-LAW" (Bexar Law TG)
Then Schertz PD Dispatcher just came back and said that it dosen't lQQk like BCSO can
find anything common. So the Schertz Dispatcher just said she had SAPD Eaqle on the phone.
Now I am am hearing BCSO InfoRecords 08-027 in the clear on Gold dealing with this maybe ?
Sounds like a structure fire Schertz is dealing with as well. EMS on standby at location.
Now a possible combative female is on her way to University Hosptial that has PD to deal with her.
The waived off that new Hostpital on Schertz Pkwy and NE-Baptist due to their security staffing levels.

I missed the start of all this ... I am just in it for the interop patching info ... Anybody listenning ... Don and Mark ?

Did they finally use that Bexar Law 1 channel? Also I think some dispatchers need training on patching groups to the SA/BC system. I have heard Live Oak do it many times with Eagle, patching some TG on the SA/BC system to RM Ops 1 with no problems as well as DPS helos. But when things are happening very fast you can't be searching through all your radios channels, sometimes a good old phone call can work just as good.

On a side note Mike I have seen some SO talkgroug dispatchers in the clear on and off the past few days...random ones like Info, E or W open channels

A Schertz officer called on tg 12125. It was after they were talking about the Bex Law tg. Another Schertz officer tried to call on tg 6524 LCRA SA 1.

Mark, tonight it did not sound like Schertz PD and BCSO ever truly go their mutual aid TG together ?
It sounded more like the problem was with BCSO and their radio programming or a training issue ?
When you say "Bexar Law-1" .... is that the same as TG # 12125 Bex-Law ?

On that side note, I wonder what is causing these random BCSO TG's to be in the clear lately ?

Did anybody, grab that SAUA-Interop 700 Mhz TG that was in testing yesterday ?
It would be nice to have something somewhat firm TG wise on this interop system to document !

As for Don's statement "Another Schertz officer tried to call on tg 6524 LCRA SA 1"

Did they refer to their radios alpha tag as "LCRA SA 1" ? How do you all label this TG ?

LCRA-SA1 Law M/A Group 6524
SAPD Eagle Patch Group 65327

What say you all ?

Yesterday I was listening to the radio techs on the LCRA P25 system. I was also listening to the SABC and the SAUA systems. They were on the northwest side of SA. I didn't hear them on the SABC or SAUA systems. The only site I can hear is the Topperwein site.

The 65xxx tgs are patch channels. They are not always the same. So I would not add them to the db. Live Oak patched RM Ops 1 to tg 6524 for a search. They called it LCRA SA 1. The radio techs were using tg 6525 LCRA SA 2 and tg 6526 LCRA SA 3 yesterday. Live Oak called for a DPS chopper for a search. Live Oak patched RM Ops 1 to tg 6527.

I have only seen the Cibolo PW TG 12135 used and 12153 as Converse PW I have the 12155 and 12156 saved but not ID'd..as for the two listed above that is what a dispatcher called them.

Also Don did you submit the interop TG's to the database? The SA1 to SA3, Bex Law and the DPS TG's
