Sometimes when i am listening to Life Flight central freq i hear life flight 1 said they are going to switch over and talk to vandy on 800. Is that the metro 800 or another one?

Your assumption is correct. They mean they are switching to Metro's 800MHz system and talking to Vandy ER on digital. Talk Group 21840.

Now if they start dispatching on the TRS, that might be news.
Anyone monitor the simplex "West" frequency out in Mount Pleasant , I know it is 463.900 simplex, but I think it is repeated back through the South repeater. I suspect it is a in-band "Pac-RT" type set up like we use for our Sparta base to talk back to Flight Ops. through our Hinch Mtn. site.
