Life Saver Freq. ?

Ok I have looked up Life Saver Freq. and I put it in the scanner and I really dont think its the correct one b/c im hearing tons of extra stuff that has nothing to do with Life Saver or EMS anything. Anyone know the correct freq/talkgroup they are on?

hmm, yea I have the one on here as well and when I hear people on it, it sounds like another local dept., not helo dispatch per say. Last time I heard people on it was two days ago but I locked it out as it was not what I was expecting.

Lifesaver is on 155.355 and uses a PL of 151.4. There are several hospitals/ambulance services in North and Northeast Alabama as well as Montgomery County that are on the same frequency. Unless you have the PL on, you may be hearing some of them. There may be other hospitals/Ambulances in Tennessee and Georgia that I don't know about. They aren't the most active frequency and I normally only log 1 or at most 2 calls per day.

The majority of LifeSaver's radio traffic is over SouthernLinc. They only use 155.355 when the other isn't available. Hope that helps.

U Hear Their Dispatch Sometimes If U Are In The Birmingham Area. I Was Down Within The Last Yr And Heard Them Talking On That 155.355. I Know For A Fact There Is Also Other Depts That Use The Same Freq. For Example, Marshall Health System Ambulance In Ne Al. Cherokee Co Ems Also.

Maeshall EMS {Marshall County Alabama} is also on Lifesaver freq.

Yep Marshall County comes over here better on 155.355 than Lifesaver ever has...I always know whats happening in Boaz, Albertville, Arab, Guntersville and that entire area. All the Ambulances and the 911 Base are loud and clear.

Just heard Lifesaver! They just got a call and reported they are airborn and >10 min out. Not sure what the location they are headed to or what the nature of the call was.

They are now >3 min out and are unable to reach the fire dept. on the radio for instructions.
Again, have no idea where they are going or what the call is.
