I monitor the simulcast on 155.67. I noticed that this transmission seems to be trunking now, where dispatch will call up a unit, the unit will respond, then you will not here the call being dispatched, but you will hear the officer confirmation of the call.

Is my only option to switch over and monitor the whole clunky EDACS for the county?


Also, I'm a bit confused about the new scanner bill. Does this mean it is now illegal to scan completely, or does the bill only concern rebroadcast of StarCom?

The scanner part of the bill was apparently deleted before it was passed. Now it only deals with cloning of a radio to transmit on STARCOM.

Depending on the scanner you use you can monitor just the TG 15-086 or 04-097 on the WC trunk system to hear Lincolnway Dispatch...There are also three car-car TG's=04-115,116,117......
